What you'll do
With retail, restaurant/coffee shop or hospitality management team experience, you'll take pride in running an outstanding operation, driving sales, managing costs and inspiring the team to make sure every customer has a brilliant experience whether they are purchasing a newspaper, coffee or sandwich.
It's also important that you create a positive rapport with the NHS Trust and our external partners as well.
Looking after all elements of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and training onwards, you'll take charge of your team's development. It is vital that they're ready to give a great service as Hospital locations are particularly demanding - it can be an emotional setting that requires an empathetic approach.
You'll aim for targets and boost sales as you inspire and mentor your team to give 100% as well as leading by example by lending a hand, especially in peak periods. Hands-on, target-focused and entrepreneurial - you'll treat the business as your own.
