Showroom Manager - Luxury Furniture

Salary £25,000 - £29,000 + Benefits

Our client is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the store team to provide an outstanding customer experience, motivate staff with a clear sense of purpose, and build and sustain a profitable business.

The showroom manager will be responsible in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the showroom, paying particular attention to the showroom team's performance whilst ensuring that every customer receives the expected service at all times. You will be expected to drive sales, demonstrate commercial awareness and manage the showroom to an exceptional level at all times.

Showroom Manager - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively drive sales growth by understanding and ensuring team awareness of sales targets, AOV , daily sales reports, conversion rates and mystery shopping reports
  • Provide inspirational leadership, guidance and motivation to all showroom staff
  • Ensure progress meetings and appraisals are completed in a timely manner for all team members and that each team member is working towards agreed set objectives
  • Utilize customer feedback to identify and implement future training needs
  • Work alongside the ASM to ensure all store operational standards are being met
  • Lead the way in ensuring the team adhere to operational standards at all times
  • Ensure all products are displayed correctly according to VM standards at all times
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to the need of the business
  • Reflect and understand the brand, leading by example in endorsing the company culture and standards

Showroom Manager - The Person:

  • Previous business management experience, ideally in retail. Other experience considered in managing a business in a highly service-focused environment
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Can interpret profit and loss reports and suggest suitable action as required
  • Experience in recruitment, people development and HR
  • Able to lead, motivate and inspire the team
  • The ability to make decisions and be proactive
  • A friendly and outgoing person with a confident and articulate manner
  • A strategic thinker, able to respond to short-term and long-term objectives with strong financial insight

To be successful in this role you should be an existing Store Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager looking for your next role ideally within a furniture or luxury retail environment.
