The Ecommerce division of Exsurgo is recruiting a Web Operations Assistant for a global fashion retailer.

Job Responsibilities:

The purpose of the role is to help the web operations specialists support the mutiple sites to deliver the brand objectives.

  • Supports the Web operations specialist to maintain a list of current and planned test campaigns across the websites.
  • Ensures the successful and timely delivery of a range of internal web administrative services.
  • Make efficient, accurate use of the current A/B testing tool to build robust test campaigns using in-built tools.
  • Work with the CMS systems, DemandWare and Testing tools.
  • Communicates with IT colleagues, technical vendors and within the Web Services Team with regard to technology, content management system, infrastructure and server issues.
  • Assist in defining project deliverables, setting schedules and resolving website content and technical issues.
  • Evaluate test data, understand performance, potential improvements, measure success and communicate this to the business. Report and present recommendations for continuous website improvement based on solid test data. Prepare specifications including wireframes for permanent web changes as well as new tests.
  • Utilize content management systems to build and maintain websites.
  • Supports the Web operations specialist to maintain the product feeds to support the marketing and wider business.
Supports the Web operations specialist to set up promotional environments, as well as building promo codes to support marketing.


Skills required: 

  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Experience of delivering customer focused campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate and build cross-departmental and supplier relationships.
  • Some experience of JavaScript / HTML/CSS and managing Content Management Systems.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate commercial requirements into solid A/B and MVT test scenarios.
  • Strong interest in web usability and commercial retailing techniques.

The perfect candidate will need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude towards supporting with significant projects and the wider Ecommerce business.  They will be a dynamic and attentive individual who is adept in working as part of a cross-functional team to execute business requirements and roadmap development, primarily with personalised campaign publishing tools.  

Ability to manage multiple campaigns across multiple time zones in order to meet strict deadlines with clear communication to stakeholders
